クロード・ドビュッシー –Claude Debussy (1862-1918)

ベルガマスク組曲はドビュッシーの初期の代表的なピアノ曲のひとつで1890年に作曲された。ベルガマスクの語は、詩人ヴェルレーヌの詩「Fêtes galantes（優雅な宴）」に登場する「月の光」の中の語句「bergamasque」に由来すると言われている。「仮面」「喜びの島」の２曲は他1曲と共にフロモン社から『ベルガマスク組曲』として出版される予定であったが、デュラン社がこの２曲を単独で出版したため、フロモンは1890年以前に書かれた４曲を『ベルガマスク組曲』として1905年に出版。第3曲《月の光》は前年の予告では、ヴェルレーヌ『サテュルニアン詩集（Poèmes saturniens）』に因んで「感傷的な遊歩道」と題されていた。

The Bergamasque Suite is one of Debussy’s early representative piano pieces, composed in 1890. The word “bergamasque” is said to be derived from “bergamasque” used for “moonlight” in the poet Verlaine’s poem “Fêtes galantes” (Elegant banquet). Two of the pieces, “The Mask” and “The Island of Delights,” were to be published together with one other piece by Fromont as the “Bergamasque Suite,” but since Durand published these two pieces alone, Fromont published the four pieces written before 1890 as the “Bergamasque Suite” in 1905. The third piece, “Moonlight,” was titled “Sentimental promenade” in the previous year’s notice, after Verlaine’s Poèmes saturniens.

喜びの島　L’isle joyeuse（1905）

1905年作の「喜びの島」は、ルーヴル美術館に所蔵されているヴァトーの1717年の絵画「シテール島への巡礼」から着想を得たと言われている。

1905’s “Island of Delights” is said to be inspired by Vatto’s 1717 painting “Pilgrimage to the Island of Citerets,” which is in the Louvre’s collection. Pilgrimage to the Isle de la Citere,” a 1717 painting by Watteau in the Louvre.

オリヴィエ・メシアン – Olivier Messiaen (1908-1992)

20世紀フランスを代表する作曲家の一人であるメシアンはピアニスト、教育者、鳥類学者としても知られ、音価とリズム、旋法において独自の技法で新たな道を切り開いた。《8つの前奏曲》は1929年21歳の時の作。全編にM.T.Lが用いられ、メシアン自身がこの前奏曲集を「色彩の研究」とみなしその後のキャリアを決定づけた。人々はドビュッシーの影響を指摘するが、作曲者本人は否定している。

One of the most famous French composers of the 20th century, Messiaen was also known as a pianist, educator, and ornithologist, and his unique techniques in note value, rhythm, and melody opened up new avenues. 8 Preludes was composed in 1929 at the age of 21. The entire work is in M.T.L. Messiaen himself considered this collection of preludes a “study in color,” and it defined the rest of his career. People point to Debussy’s influence, but the composer himself denies it.

村上 彩子　AYAKO MURAKAMI　
茨城県出身。東京音楽大学付属高校ピアノ演奏家コースを経て、東京音楽大学器楽専攻ピアノ演奏家コース卒業。東京音楽大学大学院修士課程鍵盤楽器研究領域（ピアノ）修了。これまでにピアノを鈴木弘尚、石岡千弘、岡田敦子、室内楽を藤原亜美の各氏に師事。函館イカール国際音楽祭、小値賀国際音楽祭など国内外のマスタークラスを受講。小川典子、野島稔、アレクセイ・ナビオウリン、ケマル・ゲキチ、フランソワ・アンリの各氏のレッスン受講。べーテン音楽コンクールバロックコース高校部門全国1位。東京音楽大学ピアノ成績優秀者卒業演奏会出演。第45回茨城県新人演奏会出演。第38回日本ピアノ教育連盟E部門全国大会入選。日本ピアノ教育連盟関東甲信越支部主催第20回ピアノフレッシュコンサート出演。現在はソロ活動の他、伴奏ピアニストとしても活動を行う。

AYAKO MURAKAMI　Born in Ibaraki Prefecture . Graduated from Tokyo College of Music High School Piano Performer Course, and Tokyo College of Music Department of Instrumental Music Piano Performer Course. Wrote his master’s thesis on Messiaen’s “Eight Preludes” and gave a concert on the theme, and completed the master’s course in keyboard instruments (piano) at Tokyo College of Music. She has studied piano under Hironao Suzuki, Chihiro Ishioka, Atsuko Okada, and chamber music under Ami Fujiwara. She has attended master classes in Japan and abroad, including the Hakodate Ikar International Music Festival and the Ojika International Music Festival. She has taken lessons from Noriko Ogawa, Minoru Nojima, Alexei Naviourin, Kemal Gekich, and François Henry. She won the first prize in the high school division of the Baroque Course of the Beten Music Competition. Performed in the graduation concert of the Tokyo College of Music.
Performed at the 45th Ibaraki Prefecture Newcomer’s Concert. Selected for the 38th Japan Piano Education Association E Division National Competition. Performed in the 20th Piano Fresh Concert organized by the Kanto Koshinetsu Branch of the Japan Piano Teachers Association. Currently performs as an accompaniment pianist as well as a soloist.
